Horizons is our assistive living residence located on the Beechwood campus. This is a new specialty care program that looks and feels like an assisted living residence and costs the same as traditional assisted living; however, residents have immediate access to advanced nursing and medical care under our skilled nursing certification. Ideally reducing unnecessary trips to the hospital for minor changes in condition.

You may not yet be at the point where serious medical concerns are a priority for you, but that does not mean that the time isn't right for assisted living. They can result from both physical limitations and the decline of mental faculties. In either case, an assisted living facility will provide major assistance. You also might want to make the transition because of safety concerns, especially if your home has a lot of stairs, or feelings of isolation due to a lack of social interaction.
