The sponsor of Asbury Pointe, Beechwood Continuing Care, and the Board of Directors have established a fee structure that will enable the community to operate on a solid foundation and at the same time provide affordable pricing to its residents.
As a resident of Asbury Pointe, you can be assured of many positive benefits to be derived from living in a community with a financial structure which includes a one-time entrance fee, and a monthly service fee. The fees at Asbury Pointe are explained below.
1. A one-time, 100% refundable entrance fee
This entrance fee is the cost for the apartment home and varies based on the size and style of apartment home chosen. The entrance fee is 100% refundable if you move out of Asbury Pointe at anytime and for any reason. To reserve an apartment home all you need to do is place a deposit equal to 10% of the entrance fee, sign a residency agreement, complete a confidential data application and receive approval. The 10% deposit is placed in an interest-bearing escrow account until you occupy your home. At that time, the balance of the entrance fee will be due. The 10% deposit is fully refundable with interest if for any reason you do not move into Asbury Pointe.
2. A monthly service fee
The monthly service fee covers the following services and amenities: A daily continental breakfast, one meal each day (your choice of either lunch or dinner), bi-weekly housekeeping and flat linen laundry, all utilities (except for telephone and cable), apartment and grounds maintenance, scheduled transportation, a 24-hour emergency call system, wellness programs and various recreational, educational, cultural and social programs, and priority access to Beechwood Continuing Care. Also available is underground, heated parking for an additional $95. per month.
